Synod 2017's theme was Following the Cross of Christ Together, as we move toward the plans God has for us in the coming year. It was a great celebration of the life and ministry of our diocese, which is now entering its tenth year. Click Here for link.
A very generous Parishioner and her husband bought these tapestries for Grace. They are beautifully artistic representations of all 14 stations and a 15th for the altar. These tapestries were made in Italy. The slideshow has closeups of every tapestry in order, and then a few shots of the Sanctuary with the tapestries hung.
The Most Reverend Jackson Ole Sapit, Archbishop of the Anglican Church of Kenya, will be coming to visit on July 2 to celebrate Sunday Service. We will be having a combined service with our sister church who is sharing our church building, Faith Anglican Church. Service will begin at 11 AM, with a celebration meal afterward.
Congratulations and welcome to Deacons Christopher Hatton and Dr. Abraham Chan. Also, to The Rev. Agnes Kuria from the Church of Kenya. We are excited to have all three of you among our clergy!

Archbishop Visits Grace Anglican Church
The Most Reverend Jackson Ole Sapit, Archbishop of the Anglican Church of Kenya blessed our church with a visit on July 2nd, 2017. He spent much time with the leadership of Grace Anglican, as well as Faith Anglican. Both churches worked very hard in preparing for his visit. The church building was thoroughly cleaned, offices and classrooms were finished in their updating. We were able to finish preparing our Prayer Room in time for the visit. While the Archbishop was here, prayer teams were on hand in the Prayer Room, bathing His Grace's visit in prayer.
Enjoy some pictures of his visit in the slideshow below.

Synod 2016
Synod was held on Saturday, Nov 19th at All Saints in Amesbury. Grace Anglican’s Rector, Aspirant, and Delegates were there, joining many other delegates and clergy from around the diocese. Our own acolytes were on hand to process with quite an esteemed ensemble. Some of the highlights: -Grace Anglican Church of Bridgewater was officially welcomed into the Diocese as their new congregation. -Pastor Dorcas Albrecht of All Saints Community Church (now temporarily sharing our church building) was officially licensed in the Diocese as Clergy. -A motion was passed to officially recognize All Saints Amesbury as a cathedral, named All Saints Cathedral. Click here to go to the AD-NE website to see more videos, pictures, and info. All Saints Community Church All Saints is a group of Kenyan folks that typically meet in Quincy. While they are working out some issues with using their church building, Grace has invited them to use our church for their worship. They are meeting on Sundays at 12:00, after Grace’s 10 am worship. Anyone is invited to share in their worship. Although the service primarily uses a mix of Kikuyu and Swahili, with a pinch of English, it is a vibrant and uplifting time. They will be sharing our church building for as long as they need to get back into their building. All is in God’s time and plan. Building Update Two pressing issues were rectified. The nagging water leak in the front yard has been repaired. The contractor gave Grace a fantastic discount (with some begging on my part!), and replaced the faulty pipe quite expediently. Signed off and completed! Praise God. The heater is now functioning correctly. A big thank you goes to Mike and Chris (contractors) for their efforts to replace a cracked heat exchanger, and reconnect numerous ducts in the attic. Once again, Grace received a generous discount for this work. God is good! Trunk or Treat Grace had a fun time when over 50 kids, all dressed for Halloween, descended upon our parking lot. We had around 10 cars in a big circle, trunks up and decorated, chock full of goodies for the kids. They had a great time, running around the parking area. Thanks to Chip for supplying hay rides around the back parking lot. This turned out to be very fun for all involved, and a nice safe environment for the kids to trick-or-treat. Enjoy some pictures here. New Hope Anglican & Trinity Covenant Join to Become Grace Anglican Church
It was a joyous day of celebration and praise on Saturday, August 13th. New Hope Anglican, a home-based church in Whitman, MA. had grown beyond the living room's capacity. Trinity Covenant Church of Bridgewater, MA. longed to find its way back to the Anglican Communion. God blessed both parishes magnificently as they were joined together to form a new church in the Anglican Diocese of New England. The newly-formed Grace Anglican Church was celebrated mightily in the presence of many Clergy, parish members, and friends as Bishop Bill Murdoch of the Anglican Diocese of New England led the proceedings. The dedication service began with the Bishop, Clergy, and many of the Parishioners proceeding around the entire perimeter of the parking lot and grounds, as prayers for the Lord 's blessings were said. As the Bishop arrived at the front door, he paused to consecrate the door, knocking upon them three times with his crozier, saying, "Peace to this house and all who enter it, in the Name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit." Norman Colon, the Junior Warden threw wide the doors to let the procession enter. They proceeded into the sanctuary, up the center aisle, and then around the inside as prayers for the Lord's blessings were said by members of the procession. Finally ending at the altar, praise music was sung, led by Bill on guitar and Cinnamon playing the flute. The Word was read followed by a short sermon by Bishop Bill. The official launching of Grace Anglican Church came at this point. It included the induction of Mother Leah Turner as Rector, consecrating the new altar, two baptisms, many confirmations, reaffirmations, and receptions into the Anglican Church. Holy Communion was celebrated for the first time as a new church using the newly-consecrated altar. This was truly a joyous day of celebration and a new start for Grace Anglican. We would ask for prayer as we move forward to glorify God and to build His Kingdom. Grace Anglican would like to thank Bishop Bill for his support and prayer as we worked toward this day. We also thank Bill and Cinnamon for their offerings of music and praise for the day. We would thank all of the clergy who came to participate in the service, support us with words of encouragement, and in sharing this great day with us. Click on the videos above, or feel free to scroll through more pictures of the days' events. I would encourage all to visit the Anglican Diocese of New England's website for more on this event, as well as to browse the numerous resources available.
